Gloria commenced her career as a founding member of the Utopia Batik group, exhibiting in Australia with other women from Utopia. After taking up the medium of acrylic on canvas in the late 80s, Gloria’s first solo exhibition was held at utopia Art in Sydney in 1991. Her work has developed from strict body paint designs for women to a more abstract interpretation of her dreaming in which she is continually experimenting with colour. Gloria’s work is featured on the cover of Michael boulters book “The Art of Utopia”
