Natalie is the daughter of acclaimed Utopia artist Peggy Purvis.
She began painting several years ago focusing on her mother and grandmother‘s Dreamings. Her work is distinct for its delicate strokes and gentle movement that is bought to life by bright colours that contrast brilliantly against stark black canvases. Her works are decorative, exciting, contemporary depictions of her family‘s traditional stories.
